The Emergency Operations Training Academy supports the NA-40 mission which ensures that operational planning and training are in place to respond to any DOE/NNSA emergency. The transformation of a civilian workforce into a well-coordinated response organization is a subject of policies, procedures, and training that must accompany an ever-evolving security effort to counter both domestic and international nuclear terrorism.
