This web site is part of a Federal computer system and is the property of the United States Government. It is for authorized use only. The Department of Energy monitors this web site for security purposes to ensure it remains available and to protect information in the system. PRIVACY NOTICE

This is how the EOTA handles information about your visit to our website:

All information provided by you during your account registration and when registering for a specific course will be retained for recordkeeping purposes including, but not limited to, course enrollments, course completions, various e-mail notifications, or to notify you about other pertinent academy information. To receive a course certificate you may be required to complete an evaluation survey. These surveys are anonymous unless you specifically request a response, in which case we will only capture the contact information provided by you. The submitted evaluation survey information is used as a data source, which assists the EOTA in its efforts to continuously improve the overall learning experience for our visitors.

We automatically collect and store the following information about your subsequent visits to our web site:

  1. Your login account information. e.g. password, and access information for the course(s) you are taking.
  2. Course completion, course evaluation survey, and certificates issued.
  3. The bookmark location in the course where you were if you logged out without completing the course.

The EOTA Web Site does not collect information for commercial marketing.
